July 2025
This month, I’m making time to celebrate. It’s Workflows by Ronna’s two-year anniversary! I had spent some time pondering the idea of starting my own business, but in July 2023, I took off running.
It’s been quite a ride, but not because I’m speeding toward a finish line. When I created this business to talk about and teach planning and time-management strategies, it was focused on my Workflows, which are digital, paced, to-do lists with automated deadlines that help make repeatable processes highly efficient. While they are still very much a part of what I do, Workflows by Ronna has evolved to take the principles of Workflows into 1:1 consulting, group presentations and workshops.
My business has evolved, and I couldn’t be happier to offer so much more than I ever thought I would.
Will you join me for one of the upcoming Notebooks with Ronna workshops this December or January? You can also book a personalized 1:1 session or gather a group of friends and choose a date that works for you!
Do you lead a team or are you part of one that has a commitment to efficiency and creating better processes? I give presentations with actionable steps and worksheets to help everyone work smarter, not harder.

Control Your Time: Time Blocking & Weekly Planning
Reach out, and let’s talk about how I can help your team or group feel more organized, focused, and in control of their time.
I never would have anticipated how much I love teaching my processes and adapting them to how each person thinks and works best. And the feedback… There are few things more exciting than when someone shares a win with me. We almost always end up chatting about how small wins in productivity make a big impact.
These moments with clients, along with all the cheerleaders along the way, fuel me to keep moving forward. I’m so grateful to be a solopreneur, working with incredible business owners, professionals and women who want to tackle the real struggle of managing life, family, work and more.
Happy anniversary to Workflows with Ronna and to me! I hope you’ll join me in celebrating and reach out to say hi, share a win, or explore what I can do for you.

My Favorite Things
I love live music! Like exercise and yoga, live music takes me out of my head and allows me to be fully present. Looking forward to outdoor concerts in the summer (my favorite season!) helps me get through the grayness of late winter and early spring in the Midwest where I live.
And, of course, I plan for these experiences. Year after year a group of friends and I get together to pick a few concerts at an amazing outdoor venue near us. My Notebook tells me to plan a meeting with the group. There, we coordinate our calendars in advance so that we can buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. No scrambling, no excuses.
These nights are sacred for me and elevate the live music experience even more thanks to great people watching, amazing trees and fresh air. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: planning and productivity make time for things that matter most. That’s a core principle for me and my business.

What I’m Thinking About
I mentioned how much I love when clients share wins with me, so I’ll share one, too! Hopefully it will give you more insight into how much a Notebook can do for you – let’s call it a Notebook Appreciation Moment.
Just in case you’re not up on my Notebooks with Ronna process, I’ll recap: I teach a process that takes tasks out of your mind by writing them down in a centralized location, organizing them and pacing them so that you’re proactive and not reactive.
My Notebook win allows me to connect with someone very important to me during the summer: my 1st/2nd-grade teacher who has been cheering me on my whole life, and via email since I launched this business. Because life and work are hectic (not because I don’t think of her and my other friends often), I put an entry into my Notebook in May to connect with her and schedule a lunch. It’s a priority for me to see her in real life, and I’m prioritizing making time for people because friends matter to me – they matter a lot.
Another client recently shared with me that she does the same. She wants to see her family “just because,” not only on occasions. Most months her Notebook tells her to reach out to various family members to schedule a dinner or brunch. Her win is twofold: it’s not cluttering her mind and being forgotten as a good intention, and it’s happening easily when she reaches out with a couple of date options and gets plans booked in advance.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how the Notebook process isn’t only for tedious tasks for the home and family (though it’s amazing for all of the things that come with parenthood, home ownership and more). It’s for making time for things that really matter, and it’s an important tool in my overall happiness.
