January 2026

Happy New Year! I realize we’re already halfway through January, but aren’t we still in the newness of the new year? I know I am. My business is busy, and I’m loving seeing people put systems in place to make sure 2026 is productive and happy. (Shout out to the 15 people who joined me for a Notebooks with Ronna workshop last weekend!)

Like many people, I view the new year as a reset, a time during which I set intentions, but not goals. I’ll say that again: I don’t set goals.

I realize it’s nuanced, but intentions set me up for success and can be everything from taking a trip to buying something new to doing something fun I’ve been wanting to try. Intentions take the pressure off – no need to track and compete with yourself or anyone else, and they leave room for flexibility.

One of the most important things about intentions is to set yourself up for success. That’s why I’ll encourage you to invest in yourself to make that happen!

If you’re a parent, there’s no doubt that you have spent money on tutors, coaches, new equipment, extra voice lessons – the list goes on and on.

If you’re a small-business owner, you’ve certainly purchased tools to bolster your business, as you should.

But when was the last time you invested in YOU? Have you taken a course to learn a new skill, hired a coach or consultant to support you in growth or on a journey? Have you invested the time needed to set up personal processes to ensure your happiness?

Investing in yourself also means making the time for things that matter most, and I want to help you with that. I can support you 1:1 and offer a number of other things that will help you get more done (the right things!) – in life and at work – freeing up time for things that bring you joy.

I’m so excited about my Notebooks with Ronna 2.0 Planning Group to support and build the Notebooks with Ronna community of everyone who has learned the process so far. Sometimes we just don’t want to do things alone. By having support, we achieve our intentions (or goals, if that’s your thing).

So as we push into the new year, taking on so much in our work and our lives, I want to remind you that I’m here to support you. This business was built to share the processes and intentions I created that changed things positively for me. I just couldn’t keep them to myself!

If you want to be more present for your family and friends, want to thrive in your small business (if you have one) and feel really good about where you’re spending your time, consider investing in you to make that all possible. Spend some resources and time working with me, and I’m certain we can make that all happen together!

Happy 2026!

My Favorite Things

This winter break, my husband and I decided to invest in our family by taking a special trip. We don’t always travel far and wide, so this was very exciting for all of us. As activity in my business kicked up in December (thanks to you all!), I had to work exceptionally hard to be ready to go mentally. And yet I did it! I shut off my brain, took a break and recharged for what’s turning out to be a fantastic January, so far.

And, I gained a new love for a new place: Puerto Rico is simply amazing!

The narrow, cobblestone streets in Old San Juan felt so nostalgic of my days studying abroad in Spain during college. Puerto Rico’s combination of urban and rural, natural spaces felt so unique and special. Our time spent in the beach community of Rincón reminded me of how being close to the water calms me and encourages me to be fully present. Some of the outdoor adventures pushed me far from my comfort zone, and also inspired new levels of confidence and pride.

Puerto Rico gave me and my family so much to take into 2026 with us, and I’m so grateful.

Love what you do

Listen to your heart

Always be thankful

Trust yourself

Don't forget to smile

What I’m Thinking About

For many years, I have selected a word of the year for myself. This year it’s intuition. I’m going to listen to it, trust it and revel in how much I have grown in the past few years since launching my business.

I seek to be smart yet fearless in my business and in being more comfortable being uncomfortable. Starting a business at all takes intuition, and listening to it is very important as we grow. I am proud of how I’m trusting myself more and caring less about potential judgment or what people who don’t contribute positively to my work or life think.
